After the printing plate 3 can be cut along the edges, as shown in FIG. 1, it is possible to distinguish a series of individual parts 17, each of which is actually square in shape (with the exception of rounded sections and rounded corners). Parts 17 of the printing plate 3 form a block1 {, while they have the same dpina. Each of the portions 17 of the printing plate 3 has front edges 6 and rear edges 5 and guide holes that are used to ensure accurate placement of the printing plate 3 on the carrier cylinder 2. The length of each part 17 of the printing plate 3 is chosen so that corresponded to or slightly exceeded the circumference of the carrier cylinder 2, on which the given printing plate 3 should be installed, while the full width of the parts 17 of the printing plate 3 corresponds to the width of the carrier cylinder 2.

The proposed design is practical and can provide significant cost savings, since
it completely eliminates the possibility that the individual parts of the printing form will be fixed incorrectly relative to each other, and the stepwise attachment of the printing form 40 ensures reliable adaptation.
Due to the fact that individual tsiindry is non-tolerant, its cylinder with its retaining grooves can be juxtaposed relative to each other with very high precision, the accuracy of the printing form is ensured.

1. Form cylinder for offset or gravure printing, containing a carrier cylinder mounted on an axis and a printing form with parallel rows of identical printing elements along the contour, displaced in the longitudinal direction relative to each other, the rear edge of which is rigidly fixed on the cylinder, the front edge in the recesses of the carrier cylinder by means of a fastening device, the width of the printing form corresponds to the total width of individual printing elements, characterized in that, in order to increase the print quality, In order to ensure a more precise attachment of the form, the supporting cylinder consists of a certain number of cylindrical parts mounted on the axis and is provided with a lock position of these parts relative to each other and the axis, while the printing form consists of stepped parts and rigidly interconnected parts, each of which has the length corresponding to or greater than the length of the printing element, and the recesses of the carrier cylinder are located with an offset c. according to the stepped contour of the trailing edge of the printing form.
